The Bliss of Paradise

Since 2012-11-19

A brick is made of gold and another is made of silver. Its clay (the substance between the two bricks) is musk. Its sand is pearl and ruby and its soil is the saffron. Whoever prays for the sake of Allah twelve rak'ahs (of the regular optional Sunnah prayer) every day, over and above the obligatory ones, Allah will build for him a house in paradise.

Its building

A brick is made of gold and another is made of silver. Its clay (the substance between the two bricks) is musk. Its sand is pearl and ruby and its soil is the saffron. Whoever prays for the sake of Allah twelve rak'ahs (of the regular optional Sunnah prayer) every day, over and above the obligatory ones, Allah will build for him a house in paradise.

Its gates

It has eight gates. One of its gates is called Ar-Rayyân through which only the observers of fast would enter on the Day of Resurrection. The width of one door is covered by a fast rider in three days. A day will come when people will be crowded before that gate.

Its ranks

It has a hundred degrees. The difference between each consecutive degree is similar to the distance between heaven and earth. The Firdaws is the highest rank, through it, the rivers of Paradise spring. Above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful.

Its rivers

It has four rivers. They are a river of water, a river of clarified honey (clear and pure), a river of milk, and a river of wine delicious to those who drink. It includes Al-Kauthar, the river of the Prophet, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him; it is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, it has birds which necks are like those of camels.

Its trees

There is a tree in Paradise (which is so big and huge that) if a rider travels in its shade for one hundred years, he would not be able to cross it. Its trees are always fruitful, close and near for its seekers.

Its tents

There is a pavilion from a single hollow pearl; the width thereof is sixty miles. In each corner of it, there are wives for the believer that do not see the other wives, and the believer will visit them all.

The people of Paradise

The inhabitants of Paradise are hairless beardless. They will have unending youth and constantly new dresses. The (members) of the first group to get into Paradise would have their faces as bright as full moon during the night. The inhabitants of Paradise will not have to pass excrement, to blow their noses or to urinate. Their combs are gold; their belch will give out a smell like that of musk. Their censer is made of scent itself.

The women of Paradise

If one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth, she would fill the whole space between them (the earth and the heaven) with light, and would fill whatever is in between them, with perfume. The marrow of her shanks would glimmer beneath the flesh. Furthermore, the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it.

The first to enter Paradise

Our Prophet Muhammad, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, Abu Bakr As-Siddîq. The first three to enter Paradise are the martyr, a virtuous chaste, and a slave of Allah who worshipped Him well and advised those under him.

The bliss of the last to enter Paradise

He will be asked to wish. When he wishes, it will be said to him, "You will have what you wished for along with as much as ten times the like of the world."

The masters of the people of Paradise

The masters of the elderly are Abu Bakr and 'Umar. The masters of the youth are Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein. The master ladies of the women of Paradise are Khadîjah bint Khuwaylid, Fatima bint Muhammad, Maryam bint 'Umrân, and Asiyyah bint Muzâhim, the wife of the pharaoh.

The servants of the People of Paradise

Boys of everlasting youth will go around them (serving), their age does not exceed that year. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls. They spread to tend to the needs of the People of Paradise.

Seeing the Face of Allah Almighty

The best bliss for the people of Paradise is seeing the Lord, Glorified and Exalted, {Some faces that Day shall be Nâdirah (shining and radiant) (22) Looking at their Lord (Allâh).} [Surat Al-Qiyâmah: 22-23]

{وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ ﴿٢٢ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ} القيامة: 22-23
