I have a serious problem when purifying myself from major impurity, because I purify myself with a little water, then I wipe myself sometimes 21 times and sometimes more than that, yet I still see traces, which makes me purify myself again with water. Hence I spend a long time in the washroom in order to cleanse myself, which has damanged my health. What is your opinion? Is there a specific number of times for wiping oneself in order to become pure?.

Why does Islam prohibit adoption? Adoption is a good thing. It provides a home, a set of parents, and a loving family to children who otherwise would grow up without such blessings. Why does Islam prohibit children who have no one from belonging to a family?
 

Did everyone on earth – apart from those who were with Nooh on board the ark – drown when Allah sent the flood? Can everyone who is on earth now be regarded as descendants of those who were on board the ark (ship)?

Is it valid to read Qur’aan from the computer instead of from the Mushaf ?
In other words, reading from websites on the Internet or from text files that contain the entire Qur’aan, which is displayed on the computer screen. I work in a company and during my breaks I read Qur’aan on the computer.
Is it necessary to have wudoo’ for this kind of reading, as is the case when reading from the Mushaf?.

I bought the ihram garments, and the set came with three pieces, two pieces like towels, one for the upper part of the body and the other for the lower part. As for the third piece, it is to be used as a kind of underwear on the lower part. The three pieces are not stitched, but they have two metal snap fasteners for securing the garments.
Does the fact that it has two metal snap fasteners to secure it make these garments unacceptable according to sharee‘ah? I heard that it is not permissible to wear the third piece that is described above – is that correct?

What is the importance of being truthful, both in personal and business relationships, in Islam? Is lying ever considered and (acceptable) action?
