Some Tears of Every Girl

Since 2012-11-29

The following are experiences of life that I have written by my pen for you, O sister of men! They are for you, O the unattainable! They are for you, O the mother of the heroes. Now I will tell you about the tears.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

All the praises and thanks be to Allah Alone, and prayers and peace of Allah be upon the one whom there is no prophet after him.

My sister! O you, who are the hope of this nation, O you, who are the sister of men, I send you this message while I am fully sympathetic for the cases of the daughters of Eve of this age.

Generally, these tears have been written for learning a lesson and taking warning from them. The happiest one is the one who benefits from the experiences of others. The following are experiences of life that I have written by my pen for you, O sister of men! They are for you, O the unattainable! They are for you, O the mother of the heroes. Now I will tell you about the tears.

A tear over the honor

The people at that house were happy, safe, and assured by the remembrance of Allah and by prayer.

The father was maintaining with care the prayers. In addition, the family was performing what Allah has made obligatory for them at the due time.

One day, the father was introduced to a group of neighbors who were people of evil and corruption.

The companionship has started.

The father neglected some obligatory deeds and overlooked some of the due times [of the obligations].

Suddenly, the father brought a television set to the house with the pretext of watching news (as some of those who have wireless dishes nowadays, may Allah protect you and us from heedlessness). The television was followed by that cursed set which is the destructive video set.

One night and after the darkness of the night was about to disappear and the light of the dawn was about to rise, the evil companions of the father (the father who was used to perform righteous deeds) asked him to accompany them to go where there is drugs and other kinds of narcotics.

He went and he drank wine as much as he could. He came back home while he was drunk. He entered, threw himself at the center of the hall of the house, and slept.

From that night on, the tragedy of this house started. The household started to go astray. The father went on such a case till he sold some of the gold of his wife and some of the furniture of his house.

After a while, the mother got angry when she witnessed such incidents. She refused to have anything with such situation. They quarreled bitterly.

The father drove his wife out of the house. She took her young kids to the house of her father and left her eldest daughter who is nineteen years old. She left her to manage the house needs, its cleaning and sweeping. One day, the girl went out of the house, screaming after she had lost every hope in life. Upon seeing the imam of the mosque, the dawn of hope shone again before her.

She wept heavily before his hands.

She said, “O sheikh!” Then she narrated the sad story of the house. Then, she told him about the most astounding news, about the shocking news and the grave matter.

Such news heavily shocked the heart of the sheikh. It was as if she slapped the sheikh on his cheek when she told him about it. She said, with tears filling her eyes, “My father has been trying to have sexual intercourse with me, we seek refuge in Allah, for nearly twenty days”. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.

O Allah! O Allah! Can this happen in the country of monotheism! Can this take place in the nation of monotheism?

Can this happen by the descendants of Mus’ab and Az-Zubair? Verily, the tragedy has ended. By Allah, if I did not know this sheikh well, I would never tell you this story.

It is a bitter and painful reality; really, it is.

In such situations, the slave cannot do anything except shedding many tears, asking Allah to protect and guard him against this and warning his brothers against these evil ways.

This is its end; devastation, destruction and disgrace. It is as if disobedience were calling, “O My sister! O My sister!”

To the sister of men

Be a torch of good and truth in your small kingdom. Beware of negligence or disregarding acts of disobedience either they are practiced by a son or a father. Keeping silent towards evil is evil, so; deny it, change it, and hasten to prevent it. Make haste before the spread of the disease that may lead to the death of the diseased. The disease is the sin and the diseased is the heart. Deny the evil by the wisdom and the fair preaching.

The tear of an unmarried woman

O sister of men! Something may prevent you from having a marital house. This something may be your father. Certainly, do not be astonished as really it may be your father.

This may be due to craving after money or seeking an inviting vanity of the world offered by one of the suitors.

O sister of men! I bring you a real story that we witnessed and listened to its details. Surely, it is a very painful story.

My sister! You should send this story to every father who wants to use his daughters as a means of trade. Send it to him and tell him about it.

‘Afâf was a young child who was brought up under the protection of her father and mother.

Days passed and ‘Afâf grew up.

She joined school and graduated from it. Then, she joined university and was graduated. After that, a righteous young man proposed marriage for her.

Every girl dreams of the small kingdom. It is her home and the home of her husband. It is the marital home, the nest. The young man went to her father to ask for her hand in marriage.

The father hesitated and did not reply.

He kept silent for a while then he stared carefully at that suitor and said, “‘Afâf is still young and I will not let her get married except when she grows up.”

‘Afâf had a job and her father became greedier and wanted to keep her as a source of income which brings him thousands of Riyals every month.

The suitors came one after the other.

However, the collector [her father] used to refuse. Really, he used to refuse.

‘Afâf fell ill after she became forty years old and her illness became more severe. Her father took her to the hospital. This was not for fear for her health. Rather, it was to maintain the source of the monthly income.

‘Afâf was admitted to the intensive care unit. Her health increased in deterioration. While she was facing the severe pains, she cried and moaned.

She remembered all the past memories. She remembered her colleagues at school. She remembered how each one of them used to speak about her sons, daughters, husband, and their everyday strife. Consequently, the heart of ‘Afâf was broken for being unable to feel the sweetness of having a son.

Suddenly and without any prior indications, her thoughts stopped and she became distracted.

She screamed and called, “Where is my father? I need to see my father.” The greedy collector came happily and cheerfully thinking that there is remains of some money.

He thought that there is an inheritance. ‘Afâf looked at him and her eyes were filled with tears.

She said to her father while she was taking out her last breath,
“O my father! Put your hand in mine.”
When he put it, she said, “O my father! Say Amin!”
He said, “Amin!”
She said, “Say Amin.”
He said, “Amin!”
She said, “Say Amin.”
He said, “Amin!”

‘Afâf said, while being distressed, grieved, and sad, “O my father! May Allah deprive you from Paradise as you have deprived me from having a son.” She said this and died immediately. O, none has the right to be worshipped but Allah. What a grave tragedy this is!

O sister of men! Say to every father whose case is the same, “Fear Allah and know that marriage is one of the rights of your daughter and one kind of her disciplined freedom which has been made available for her by the decree.

She should not get married except by her consent and she should not refuse except by her permission. She has the right to do that, as she is a human being. She seeks what humans seek of the freedom to choose between two destinies; the destiny of keeping single or the destiny of getting settled and married. This is a religious legislative right for her. Say to every father whose case like this one, “You are the opponent of the oppressed female before the Hands of Allah on the Day of Judgment.”

A tear over the papers of the calendar

A friend said to me, “One day, I turned the paper of the Muslim calendar to find such great surprise. By Allah, it is a great surprise.

One year of my age has passed and it is ended while I am still lost and deviated. I had a feeling that shook me as if it is a grave storm. The parts of my body trembled and my structure shook when I knew that a whole year has passed without increasing my provision for my grave.

My heart was squeezed in regret, I could not control myself, and I found a tear flowing on my cheek, for being sad because of my negligence. Allah says, {“Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?” (115) So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!} [Surat Al-Mû’minûn 23:115-116]

Transliteration:Afahasibtum annama khalaqnakum AAabathan waannakum ilayna la turjaAAoona (115) FataAAalaAllahu almaliku alhaqqu la ilaha illa huwa rabbu alAAarshi alkareemi

O you who is indulging in sin and deviation,
And was deceived by your persistence [on disobedience],
Allah has extended your time [of enjoyment], so you committed sins openly;
And you did not hide your disobedience from Him.

O sister of men, extending the hope is weakness and shortening the hope is hard work. By Allah, Allah has not created us except to worship Him. Thus, you should prove our good opinion of you as you are half of the society and you give birth to the other half. Therefore, you are the whole society and you are the sister of men. Do not leave any chance for the strayed people.

These tears are completed. May Allah write them down in the scale of the enduring good deeds and may He benefit you and us from them, Amin!

Written by the hoping for the forgiveness of his Lord, Abû Abdul-Aziz Muhammad ibn Sarrâr Al-Yâmî
May Allah forgive him; forgive his parents and teaching scholars, Amin.
