Adnan is a historian with a speciality in the history of Islamic civilisation, comparative religion and Quran/Hadith sciences. He also takes a keen interest in lslamic numismatics, ancient manuscripts and antiquities. He has debated many high profile figures in the field of politics, history, Muslim/Christian theology.

He has lectured in many prestigious international universities including the University of Warsaw (Poland) and the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), the Trinity College (Dublin), the Oxford University (Oxford), LUMS (Lahore) and many more. Adnan has represented Islam and Muslims appearing on a number of radio and TV platforms such as the BBC Asia Netwrok, Press TV, Iqra TV, Islam Channel etc.

He is presently serving as a Khateeb at a West London mosque where he is presently conducting an extensive course on the Tafseer of the Quran.

Adnan believes that Islam is a way of life which promotes modernity (in all of its positive manifestations) and provides practically realistic solutions for all problems of mankind.
