Corona Didn't Come to Kill...Corona Came to Revive!

Allah, May He be Glorified and Exalted, says:

Inerpretaion of the meaning: "Verily, We sent (Messengers) to many nations before you (O Muhammad SAW). And We seized them with extreme poverty (or loss in wealth) and loss in health with calamities so that they might believe with humility. When Our Torment reached them, why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Shaitân (Satan) made fairseeming to them that which they used to do." [Al-Anaam: 42-43]

In the light of these Ayat, we learn that Allah sends plagues, pandemics and other types of afflications to revive the hearts of the heedless ones. The current Corona pandemic (Covid 19) is no exception. It came to revive the hearts of Muslims, to warn the disbelivers and the dissoilute and to show all people on this earth the Omnipotence of Allah the Almighty.

Afflictions occur because of the sins of people and thus it will not be removed except through repentence. Allah the Almighty says:

Interpretation of the meaning: "For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allâh. Verily! Allâh will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allâh). But when Allâh wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector." [Ar-Raad: 11]

Therefore, each Muslim should repent to Allah, give up sins, ask Allah for forgiveness and do righteous good deeds, hoping that Allah becomes pleased with us and saves us from evils and afflictions.
