The Remembrance of the Bearer of Glad Tidings and the Warner صلى الله عليه وسلم - Episode 6: A Spotlight on the Year of Grief

Since 2017-08-20

Sheikh Ali Paqees: The year of grief and calamities came. In this year, the prophet lost his beloved ones.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon:  The blockade hardships that the prophet along with Bani Hashim and bani Abdel-Muttalib went through has ended. Six months later, the grief and calamities encompassed the prophet.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: Abu Talib was very sick.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: His uncle who defended him from Quraysh and showered him with care.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: who took great care in guarding and protecting the prophet

Sheikh Ali Paqees: few months after leaving the confinement at Al-Sh‘ib, Abu Talib fell ill and he was bedridden.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: when the prophet knew his uncle was on death bed, breathing his last breath, and suffering the agony and stupor of death, he sought him earnestly.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: He صلى الله عليه وسلم intended to guide his uncle to the way of eternal grace, for all the protection he offered him.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: The prophet went to his uncle; and neared him

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: While the stoutest men of Quraysh and their most honored ones were present there.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The prophet sought his uncle side, but Abu Jahl intercepted his way. The prophet then compassionately said:

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: wishing all kindness and good for his uncle for the prophet knew what awaited the believer in the hereafter and what awaited the infidel there.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: “My uncle, you just make a profession that there is no true god but Allah"

Sheikh Ali Paqees: and I shall bear testimony before Allah of your being a believer”

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: The prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was most compassionate towards his uncle who defended, protected and supported him.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: But Abu Jahl and the idolaters clung to Abu Talib's side.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: When they heard the prophet call his uncle unto monotheism, they said very angrily "Abu Talib; would you abandon the religion of Abdel-Muttalib?"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi:  Abu Talib thus stuck to his father's religion "I believe in Abdel-Muttalib religion" was the last words heard out of him before he passed away.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: That's the result of following a bad company

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: The prophet was afflicted by his uncle's death greatly. He grieved over him and sadness filled his heart صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: he was mostly sad, because his uncle stuck to the very end to paganism. Thus, he wasn't guided to Islam and the grace that befalls the believer.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: the prophet said afterwards “By Allah, I will persistently beg pardon for you till I am forbidden to do so"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: it was then that Allah the Mighty revealed to him:

{مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوا لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا أُولِي قُرْبَى مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ} [التوبة: 113]

Interpretation of the meaning: "After it has become clear that they are condemned to the Flaming Fire, it is not for the Prophet and those who believe to ask for the forgiveness of those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity even if they be near of kin." [At-Tawba: 113]

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The prophet's heart almost broke over his uncle sticking to paganism till the very end for he صلى الله عليه وسلم earnestly wished for him to embrace Islam.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: Al-‘Abbas, the prophet's uncle, asked him “Have you not been of any avail to your uncle (Abu Talib) (though) by Allah, he used to protect and defend you.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “He is in a shallow fire, and had it not been for me, he would have been at the bottom of the (Hell) Fire.”

Interpretation of the meaning: "(O Prophet), you cannot grant guidance to whom you please. It is Allah Who guides those whom He will. He knows best who are amenable to guidance. (56)" Surat: Al-Qasas

Sheikh Ali Paqees: The year of grief was also the year in which the prophet lost his beloved wife Khadija whom her life was ideal example of sacrifices, loyalty and consolidation.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم loved her dearly

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: Khadija the one wife who lived with the prophet for twenty five long years.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: One of the dearest to the heart of the prophet; the best among all mankind.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: She (may Allah be pleased with her) consoled the prophet with her money, with her understanding, comforting and conversing. She aided him with her firm believing in Allah the one and him, his prophet. She stood by him with everything she could, and her heart was always his comforter. The first to embrace Islam and follow the prophet was now on her deathbed.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: One could never empathize with the prophet for how hard was his pain, grief and suffers which encompassed his heart. No one could know!

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: He has lost his supporter and his closest companion as well for Abu Talib who supported and defended him died and now it's the calamity of losing his beloved, the comforter of his soul. May Allah be pleased with her; and maker her well-pleased; may the Lord reward her with best of rewards he ever rewarded a believer with; Indeed she consoled the prophet, protected and pleased him to her extreme.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: The polytheists found their chance to abuse and harass the prophet after the death of his uncle Abu Talib, and his beloved wife Khadija while he was grieving over both.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: they invented different methods to abuse him صلى الله عليه وسلم. They went as far as physical harassments as well.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: They boldly faced and abused the prophet. THey even inflicted tortures on him physically صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: they used their old practices of persecution, leading them was none but Abu Jahl who threatened the prophet to kill him if he ever saw him praying at Al-Ka'bah

Sheikh Ali Paqees: Once Abu Jahl (Allah's wrath be upon him) approached a host of Quraysh men

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: he pointed at the prophet who was praying at Al-Ka'bah "How could you let Muhammad prostrates before your eyes?!"

Sheikh Ali Paqees: he neared the prophet claiming that he would tread on his neck (peace be upon the prophet).

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi:  No sooner had he approached closer to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم than he withdrew pale-faced, shuddering, protecting his face with his hands as if driving something away

Sheikh Ali Paqees: the people watching hurried forward asking him "what's the matter Aba-Alhakam?" He replied: "When I approached him, a trench of fire and horrors, and unusual wings separated me from him"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The prophet said "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if he had approached closer, the angels would have killed him and torn him into pieces"

(Here is Quraysh, developing a scheme after another to hinder the people from the path of Allah, but the truth prevails)

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: another time while the prophet (may my father, mother and my own life be sacrificed for him)- was praying close to Al-Ka'bah; the sanctuary House of Allah.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: praying with extreme tranquility, sincerity and calmness, firmly believing in his Lord's promise of Victory.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: He, the most worshipful adorer to the Creator of all, at the most sacred place on earth, prostrating before his Lord سبحانه وتعالى

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: meanwhile the pagans mocked him صلى الله عليه وسلم scornfully

Sheikh Ali Paqees: Abu Jahl then said to his companions "Who amongst you would bring the abdominal contents and waste of a camel of Bani so and so

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: he meant for the waste of the camel's feces, blood and amnion that's left after it gives a new born.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: the most wretched, unfortunate amongst them, 'Uqbah ibn Abi Ma'eat went forth.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: When the Prophet prostrated before Allah, 'Uqbah went forth and placed this filth on the prophet's back, between his shoulders.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The prophet didn't lift his head up while the polytheists of Quraysh started laughing out loud.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: They burst into a fit of laughter and fell on one another while the prophet in prostration still

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: Fatimah heard about what happened to her father, the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: Very angry she quickly went to her father; took the dirt off his shoulders. The prophet finished his prayer therewith

Sheikh Ali Paqees: He raised his hands supplicating against them "O Allah! Punish Quraysh."

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: "O Allah! Punish Quraysh."

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: "O Allah! Punish Quraysh" he invoked Allah's wrath against four of them"O Allah punish 'Uqbah bin Abi Ma'eat"

Sheikh Ali Paqees: " and punish Shaybah bin Rabee‘ah"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: "O Allah punish Al- Waleed bin Al-Mugheerah"

Sheikh Ali Paqees: "and Umayya bin Khalaf"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: so it was hard for them when the Prophet invoked Allah against each one of them, as they had a conviction that the prayers and invocations of the prophet were accepted.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: their faces were very pale as they were frightened of the prophet's supplications against them. Truly they knew he was honest.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: Ibn Mas‘ood said: “I saw the four of them killed in the Battle of Badr, and they were all thrown into a pit that had been dug for the disbelievers who were killed at Badr.”

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: The prophet's uncle, Abu Lahab and his wife were amongst those who abused the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: Um Jameel, that carrier of firewood; heard Allah's words سبحانه وتعالى:

{تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ} [المسد: 1]

Interpretation of the meaning: "Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! (1)" [Al-Masad :1]

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: the verses angered her. She looked for the prophet to insult him; "We have rejected that poet who is called "dispraised"; disdained his religion and disobeyed his commands" she repeatedly said that.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: She held a great stone in her hands to toss it at the prophet, aiming to hit his honored mouth.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: She approached Abu Bakr As-Sideeq while the prophet was sitting beside him.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: "where's your companion?" she asked Abu Bakr, "I've heard he insulted me" she continued on.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: "By Allah if I was to see him, I shall hit his mouth with that very stone" then she left  whereas the prophet were just beside Abu Bakr

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: Abu Bakr turned to the prophet and said" O apostle of Allah"

Sheikh Ali Paqees: "Do you think she didn't see you beside me?" the prophet responded "Allah has snatched her sight away"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: the prophet said to his companions, and Abu Bakr in particular "don't you see how Allah defend me? They insult whom they call "dispraised" while I am Muhammad (the laudable)

And true is Allah's speech:

{إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ} [الحجر: 95]

Interpretation of the meaining:  "We suffice thee against the mockers" [Surat: Al-Hijr:95]

Interpretation of the meaining: "Therefore publicly announce what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists. (94) Indeed we suffice you against these mockers. (95) Those who ascribe another God along with Allah; so they will soon come to know. (96)" [Surat: Al-Hijr: 94-96]

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: another time while the prophet was praying before al-Ka'bah; 'Uqbah bin Abi Ma'eat were uncontrollably angry at the prophet for praying there; hence he wrapped his cloth around the prophet's neck صلى الله عليه وسلم and tugged him violently towards him.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: He almost chocked him to death, May the peace and blessings be upon the prophet.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: yet no one defended the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Ali Paqees: someone hurriedly told Abu Bakr wherefore he quickly left his house and headed straight to the prophet's whereabouts, exclaiming "Do you want to kill a man merely because he says ‘My Lord is none but Allah'?"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: Abu Bakr pushed 'Uqbah away from the prophet. Thus the polytheists, being angry, enclosed Abu Bakr and hit him violently, tugged at his braids so hard that some had fallen off. When they left him, one couldn't distinguish his front from his back! That wasn't much if it's to defend the prophet; may our souls, lives, blood and breathes be sacrificed for the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

(How doomed are those who reject their prophet who the valleys and deer went along with him)

Sheikh Ali Paqees: When the torments increased in Mecca, the polytheists tightened their grasp upon the Muslims. The prophet sought to propagate Islam outside of Mecca, somewhere else where he could call unto believing in Allah the One, Lord of the creations

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم resolved to travel to Al-Ta'if

Sheikh Ali Paqees: the prophet climbed those mountains

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: he went on foot for as long as 60 miles to call the people of Al-Ta'if unto Allah سبحانه وتعالى

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: He thought that perhaps they would embrace Islam and help propagate it amongst the people, perhaps they'll protect the prophet against the polytheists till he propagates the call of Islam.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: hence the prophet headed to Al-Ta'if with his freed slave and friend Zaid bin Haritha.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: meanwhile he صلى الله عليه وسلم called the tribes he encountered along the way to Al-Ta'if- unto Islam, preaching to them about the One سبحانه وتعالى and the right religion.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: As soon as he reached Al-Ta'if; he صلى الله عليه وسلم called them unto Islam.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: He approached their three chieftains who belong to the family of ‘Umair Ath-thaqafy

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: Abd Yaleel, Mas'ood and Habeeb, the prophet invited them to Islam.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: they impudently disbelieved and jeered at the prophet. One amongst the three mockingly swore by Allah that he would tear Al-Ka'bah cloths if indeed Allah has sent the prophet.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: another said “Has not Allah found someone else to entrust him with His Message?”

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: "by Allâh I'll never converse with you. If indeed you're the Messenger of Allah, then you are too mighty to converse with, and if you are belying Allah, then I feel it is imperative not to speak to.” said the third.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: No one amongst those noblemen responded to the prophet. He stayed for ten days there, inviting the noblest, most honored men amongst the tribe to Islam, yet they all abstained from responding to his invites.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: they encouraged their slaves and the foolish ones to insult the Prophet and abuse him.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: they enclosed him in between two rows, pelt him with stones. ow was he صلى الله عليه وسلم? Blood flowed down both his legs as the stones were pelt excessively at him

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: Zaid bin Harithah who accompanied him, endeavored to shield the prophet from the stones while the prophet himself was heartbroken.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The prophet was much wounded to the extent that his shoes bathed in his blood. The enemies of Allah did not desist until they had chased him away, following him from place to another.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: he was obliged to flee from Al-Ta'if. They chased after him for 2 or 3 miles till he took refuge in an orchard that belongs to 'Utbah and Shaibah, sons of Rabie'a, and rested against the wall beneath a vineyard.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: The prophet reflected on his state and his propagation of Islam. He realized that most of those he invited to Islam, not only rejected him but abused him as well. He found himself alone with no one's support at all.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: could one imagine his state then صلى الله عليه وسلم? How sad and grieved was he for all the hardships and torments he suffered? May my mother, father and myself be sacrificed for him. He who brought the light which shone upon the world, the blessings and boon. He who wished to save those mobs from the Hell fire that none shall enter it else the unfortunate. He صلى الله عليه وسلم called them unto their Lord, their creator. Despite of all of this, they abused and harassed him. He leant against the wall

Sheikh Ali Paqees: he supplicated Allah sincerely and complained of his sorrow and grieve to his Lord

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: he held his hands high, supplicating Allah

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: “O Allâh! To you alone I make complaint of my helplessness, the paucity of my resources and my insignificance before mankind. You are the most Merciful of all. You are the Lord of the helpless and the weak, O Lord of mine! Into whose hands would you abandon me: into the hands of an unsympathetic distant relative who would sullenly frown at me, or to the enemy who has been given control over my affairs? Yet if your wrath does not fall on me, there is nothing for me to worry about. I seek protection in the light of Your Countenance, which illuminates the heavens and dispels darkness, and which should set right all affairs in this world as well as in the Hereafter. May it never be that I should incur your wrath, or that you should be wrathful to me. O my Lord be pleased with me. There is no power nor resource, but yours alone.” Prayers and words which showed the great grief the prophet suffered, his puzzlement and sorrow for the people he invited to the right path rejected him.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: with those prophetic, sincere prayers the prophet supplicated his Lord.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: hearing his sincere prayers, in which it ascended the heavens;filled with sincerity, fear of Allah and longing, Shaibah and 'Utbah's hearts were softened thereupon

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: They sent to him their slave 'Addas with branches of grapes.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: Allah prepared for 'Addas this to his own good. 'Addas approached the prophet with the grapes wondering about the sincerity, beauty and humbleness shown in the prophet's features

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم accepted the fruit with pious invocation: “In the Name of Allah.” 'Addas was very surprised upon hearing those words.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: "The people of this land aren't used to such words" 'Addas said to the prophet

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: the prophet looked towards 'Addas "which country did you come from?" he asked him

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: "I am from the people of Nineveh in Iraq" 'Addas answered. The prophet then said "from the city of the righteous man, the pious prophet, Jonah, son of Matta?”

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: 'Addas very astonished asked "do you know Jonah?" the prophet replied "Yes, I do. He is my brother. He was a prophet and so am I"

Sheikh Ali Paqees: thereupon 'Addas was very glad that he kissed the prophet's head, hands, and foot.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: Shaibah and 'Utbah got angry "He spoilt our slave" they furiously remarked.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: when they admonished 'Addas at this act, he replied: “None on the earth is better than he is"

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: The prophet headed back to Mecca, very grieved and troubled; his heart is broken صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: he grieved over the people of Mecca for rejecting the call unto Islam

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: but that's the hardships that he must endure in propagating his Message and Allah has revealed to him before

{وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ} [المدثر: 7]

Interpretation of the meaining: "And for the sake of your Lord, be patient." [Surat: Al-Muddathir:7]

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: the prophet wandered aimlessly. Sorrow and sadness enveloped him صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: He صلى الله عليه وسلم didn't awake from his sorrowful daze before he reached Qarn At-tha'aleb

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: He stood still to his place affected by the overwhelming sorrow and sadness which only Allah knew how grievous it was.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: Soon the relief came from Allah, the Lord of earth and heavens. Allah, the Almighty sent him Gabriel عليه السلام

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: After Gabriel greeted the prophet he said "O prophet of Allah, your Lord heard your prayers and heard your people's ribaldry responds"

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: "O Muhammad; Allah sent you the angel of mountains to your aid. If you wish, he would bury Mecca between Al-Akshabayn (the two mountains surrounding Mecca)

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: The prophet humble and lenient, he overcame his grieves and hurts for his Lord's sake for he (may my father, mother and myself be sacrificed in his place) never sought after a selfish triumphant or gloated over his enemies' misfortunes.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: He, who've the softest of hearts and most merciful of all, said "No, I would rather have someone from their loins who will worship Allah, the All–Mighty with no associate.”

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: have you seen such magnanimous manners before? such selfless character? such unmatchable ideals and values that marked the prophet's character? No wonder for Allah the Almighty himself is the one who brought the prophet up

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: after the prophet's auspicious encounter with Gabriel, given this support, he صلى الله عليه وسلم set out with fresh determination and assured, tranquil heart, until he reached the valley of palm.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: while the prophet was praying in the valley of palm, a party of Jinns were presented there and listened to the prophet reciting verses of the holy Quran

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: they were greatly impressed although it was said that the prophet didn't know about their presence then

Sheikh Ali Paqees: They hurriedly set back to their people, inviting them unto Islam. The Jinns embraced Islam upon hearing the Quran while humans rejected the message of Allah and his messenger.

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: When the visible world rejected him صلى الله عليه وسلم, the unseen world responded to his call unto his Lord. When humans disbelieved in his message, Allah سبحانه وتعالى who sent his prophet to call both humans and jinns unto Islam, the Almighty sent him Jinns who believed in it.

Interpretation of the meaining: "And when We turned to thee a company of jinn giving ear to the Koran; and when they were in its presence they said, 'Be silent!' Then, when it was finished, they turned back to their people, warning." [Surat: Al-ahqaf:29]

Sheikh Ali Paqees: after al-Ta'if's people banished him from their land and the enmity of the polytheists in Mecca increased intolerably

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: Although resolved to enter Mecca, he couldn't do so صلى الله عليه وسلم, Praise Allah! The land is his homeland; those who lived there are his people and clan, yet they forbid him from entering the most beloved lands to his heart.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: Zaid bin Harithah, his companion, said, “O prophet; How could you step into Mecca after they (Quraish) have expatriated you?” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم answered: “Hearken Zaid, Allah will surely provide relief and He will verily support His religion and Prophet.”  Positive confidence and assured conviction that the message he was sent to propagate shall prevail no matter what.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: the prophet approached his homeland where he was expelled forcibly from it. Three cases in which even the wisest of men scarcely can tolerate to be banished from your beloved homeland, to separate from one's closest companions and the last to lose a loved one.

Sheikh Ali Paqees: Whence he dispatched a man to Al-Akhnas bin Shuraiq seeking his protection.

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: The latter refused and excused himself out of it

Sheikh Ali Paqees: He then dispatched the messenger to Suhail bin ‘Amr

Sheikh Khaled al-Khalawy: he too refused and excused himself. So the prophet requested protection from Al-Mut‘im bin ‘Adi

Sheikh Ali Paqees: the latter responded to the Prophet’s appeal for shelter. He asked his sons as well as his people to prepare themselves fully armed

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: Al-Mut'im urged his sons, cousins and his clan to head to Al-Ka'bah and distribute themselves around it

Sheikh Ali Paqees: and then asked the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to enter into Mecca. The prophet accompanied with Zaid bin Harithah entered into Mecca while Al-Mut'im called outto the men of Quraysh

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: "Muhammad is under my protection; let no one satirize him amongst you"

Sheikh Abdullateaf Al-Ghamdi: So the prophet peacefully entered into his homeland's roads. He صلى الله عليه وسلم resumed his efforts in propagating his message.

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: The prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم never forgot Mut‘im’s favor. At the conclusion of the battle of Badr, having captured lots from amongst the pagans

Sheikh Ali Paqees: The prophet remembered Al-Mut'im's favor and said

Sheikh Zaid al-Qoroon: " if Mut‘im had been still alive and asked for the release of the Quraishite captives, I would not deny him his request."

Sheikh Ali Paqees: may peace and blessings be upon the prophet. Indeed he was a sensible man of great loyalty.
