All of us wonder about the way the Messenger (PBUH) was with his wives. How he dealt with them? How he treated them equally? The Prophet accomplished the happiness to every one of them; that is because he knew how to deal with women. He penetrated deeply into her sensitive soul and he went on apostrophizing her with the warmth of passion and assisted her to work for her religion and life.

In the Arabic language, the word Islam has many meanings. It comes from the root letters of س (seen)ل (lam) and م (meem), 'salam'. Frome these letters the meaning of Islam is described literally as 'submission', 'surrender', 'peace' and 'safety'. Salam is also known as one of Allah's Attributes.

This article reviews the following three arguements on Quran: - Those who say that Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم himself wrote the Quran; - Those who say that Quran was written by somenelse and taught to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم; and - Those who believe that Quran is the pure word of God having no human author.

This book, Purification: the Islamic Concept, explains that under Islam the concept of purification is limited to personal and physical purity, it includes purifying oneself of sin and all disobedience of God. The book then discusses the detailed rules of physical purification, including ablution, grand ablution, the removal of impurity, dry ablution, etc.

This book, Women in Islam, begins by shedding light on the status of women prior to Islam. It explains that women were ill-treated and humiliated in many cultures. Indeed, in some societies, women were considered the property of men and could be bought, sold and inherited. Women were generally treated as inferior to men and some communities even blamed women for the misfortune and shame that might befall their families.

This book, The Message of Islam, begins by asserting the important fact that the faith of Islam, its worship, rules governing people’s transactions and all its teachings have remained the same as they were taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over fourteen hundred years ago. No change or alteration has ever been introduced into them and any deviations from the message that have arisen are because it is Muslims themselves who have changed. Therefore, when individual Muslims commit deeds that Islam prohibits their actions do not reflect Islam.

This book, The Key to Understanding Islam , states from the outset that the Qur’an is not a book of science. However, Islam respects science and scientists, giving them high status in Islamic society, and tells its followers to afford scientists the respect they deserve. The author informs his readers that he has no intention to relate the Qur’an to modern scientific discoveries. He only cites Qur’anic verses that refer to such discoveries as science have made in our present time.

It shows that the love of God is the best and most noble love and when it is rooted in a person’s heart, it sets that person’s behaviour on the right footing, elevates his emotions and feelings and removes selfishness.

It is unjust and unreasonable for Islam to be assessed or evaluated based on any individuals’ behavior and attitudes, with the exception of the Prophet Muhammad who is the example and role-model.

Islam is a religion and a way of life. It means submission, devotion, and obedience to God, the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Therefore, a Muslim is someone who submits himself to God. That is the reason why every prophet and messenger of God and their followers were by definition ‘Muslims’, as stated in the Qur’an.

Different societies have now been forced to take a position regarding the stakes of their women.
