If you receive an invitation from a highly respected person and it was titled as to 'honoured guests', how would you feel?!

Excited ...Thrilled... Moved? I definitely agree, I would feel the same!

The same feeling occurred to one of our beloved sister who we got to know through our journey with the Holy Qur'an.
As she was a student of knowledge and never left a gathering that Allah (The Allmighty) was remembered in, due to her strong conviction that those gathering would be surrounded by Angels(prayer and peace of Allah the Almighty be upon them) and the mercy of Allah the Almighty will be descended on them, as it was narrated in the Hadith reported by Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with them):

عن أبي هريرةَ، وأبي سعيدٍ الخدريِّ رضي الله تعالى عنهما- عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: «لا يَقْعُدُ قومٌ يذكرون اللهَ عز وجل إلَّا حَفَّتْهم الملائكةُ، وغَشِيَتْهم الرحمةُ، ونزلَتْ عليهم السكينةُ، وذكرهم اللهُ فيمَن عنده» أخرجه:مسلم.

(Translation of what the Messenger of Allah (prayer and peace of Allah the Almighty be upon him)  has said, "When a group of people assemble for the remembrance of Allah, the Angels surround them (with their wings), (Allah's) mercy envelops them, Sakinah, or tranquillity descends upon them and Allah makes a mention of them before those who are near Him'' [Muslim].

One day, during her Tafseer class, where the teacher allowed every student to read one verse and then translate it, it was our beloved sisters turn to read and the verse she read was in Surat Maryam, verse 85.

قال الله تعالى: يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًا

(Translation of what Allah the Allmighty said): "The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests".[Maryam:85]

She was inspired, passionate and delighted by the promise that Allah the Allmighty had given to his slaves who are God-fearing. Immediately she said without hesitation, "May Allah make us among them", the sisters in the room replied "Ameen", their voices moulded into one.

The next morning, after performing Fajr Prayer, reading her morning Supplications and reading some pages of the Holy Qur'an, she went to have a bit of rest. She put on the Qur'an on low volume and slept ....

That was the end of not only her day but her life. She never woke up.

She passed away, joining the honoured guests she wished to be among. May Allah make her wish come true, as every one who witnessed her presence admitted that she was one of the people of the Qur'an (Ahlu-al Qur'an).

May Allah grand our beloved sister the highest level of Jannah, Janatul-Firdous. Let her be among those whom Allah the Almighty has favoured - the Prophets(prayer and peace of Allah the Almighty be upon them), those who were steadfast in truthfulness, the martyrs, and the righteous. Allhuma Ameen.
