The Christian Creed

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary"

  • Categories: Religions, Heresies, and Sects -

We will discuss in this article the concept of godhood in the Christian creed, which is the origin of their belief. We will do this on academic bases to unveil this creed to all people, and to refute the claims the Christians use to defend their creed and declare that they are not polytheists, although they converted Christianity to pagan religion after adding to it some of the pagan creeds (i.e. Buddhism) and some of the Greek pagan philosophy. Therefore, they turned Christianity to pagan religion, Allah almighty and Jesus (peace be upon him) are innocent of it.

The Christian creed is summarized in the Nicene Creed (the Nicene Creed is the creed or profession of faith that is most widely used in Christian liturgy), and here is its text:

“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, possessor of everything, Maker of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father [the only-begotten; that is, of the essence of the Father, God of God], Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; By whom all things were made [both in heaven and on earth]; Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down and was incarnate and was made man; He suffered, and the third day he rose again, ascended into heaven; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. And in the Holy Ghost; [But those who say: 'There was a time when he was not;' and 'He was not before he was made;' and 'He was made out of nothing,' or 'He is of another substance' or 'essence,' or 'The Son of God is created,' or 'changeable,' or 'alterable'—they are condemned by the holy catholic and apostolic Church.]”

It was adopted in the city of Nicaea by the first ecumenical council, which held there in 325 A.C by 318 archbishops in the days of Constantine. However, in 381 A.C they altered it to be as following: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are three hypostasis, three aspects, and three characteristics. Unifying by Trinity then unifying again, a single entity with three hypostasis, one God, one essence and one nature.

“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds (æons), Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; by whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was made man; he was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried, and the third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father; from thence he shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceedeth from the Father, who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, who spake by the prophets. In one holy catholic and apostolic Church; we acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.”

(Note: in the previous two texts [square brackets] indicate by the portions of the 325 text that were omitted or moved in 381, and we used italics to indicate what phrases, absent in the 325 text, were added in 381.)

The Christians have a day called ‘Easter day’. They believe that Christ had risen again in this day after crucifying him. Unfortunately, nowadays many Muslims used to take Allah’s enemies as supporters and helpers although the Muslim creed obliges them to consider them enemies. Loving for the sake of Allah, hating for the sake of Allah, taking the infidels as helpers and supporters and taking the infidels as enemies are origins in the Islamic creed. The Muslim is obliged to be unlike the disbelievers and not to congratulate them in their holidays by anyway.

Dear brother, you should now that these ecumenical councils (which they held after three hundred years of the life of the Christ) are just factories for producing gods and distorting the religion to satisfy the kings of wealth and whims who imposed paganism on Christianity. Moreover, you should know that the true Christianity remained only for three hundred years after the raise of the Christ who called for monotheism and worshipping Allah alone. After three hundred years, they held the first council and declared Jesus (peace be upon him) to be god. In the second council, they declared Mary to be god also. In the twelfth council they declared the right of the church to forgiving sins along (Which reminds us with the ‘Acts of Forgiveness’ during the medieval times in the Era of Martin Luther. The decade of oppression, corruption and darkness made by the church, leading to a suitable atmosphere for the atheist secularism to separate religion from authority) with the right of anathema which it could transfer to whoever it likes of the priests. And in the twentieth council they declared pope’s infallibility … etc.

The Nicene Creed in the shades of the mind:

The Nicene Creed, which is the origin of belief in the distorted Christianity, states “The Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father the only-begotten; that is, of the essence of the Father, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; By whom all things were made both in heaven and on earth.” Hence, If the father was “the Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible” then, what did Jesus create?! On the other hand, if Jesus was the creator of All things, then what did the father create?! Actually, this is a strange contradiction and intellectually stunning. Moreover, how could Jesus be old (nothing is before Him) although they think that he is the son of God?! It is logically known that the existence of the father must be prior to the existence of the son. Could their existence be concurrent?! How could it be?! If the Christ were the god himself, how could he be son and father at the same time?! If Jesus was not the god (father), why did he bear the burden of a sin he did not commit?! Is not this injustice from the creator (the father)?! Moreover, isn’t it fair for the father to return Adam to life and crucify him as a punishment for his sin instead?!

On the other hand, was not the god (the father) able to forgive the sin of Adam without doing such comical actions?! Also, what about the people who were after Adam and before Jesus?! Why are they jailed in Satan’s jail for something they didn’t commit?! Moreover, if the person that was crucified was god himself and was crucified by his will, as the Christians claim, why did he cry and seek help? Could God cry and seek help from creatures and does not have the ability to save himself from his enemies and opponents?!

Why does the cross deserve to be honored instead of being humiliated for being the tool of killing the god, according to your claim?! (It is known in Islam that when Jesus returns before the Day of Judgment, as stated in the holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, he will break the cross and call people to Islam) if you said ‘because it touched the body of the Christ’ we would reply ‘if one cross had touched the body of the Christ, then what about the millions of crosses that you make today? Did they all touch the body of the Christ?!’ As long as the Nicene Creed (the origin of your belief) states that the god had died three days; but, who had made him rise again?! If the Christ was the god that controls the world; then, who had taken care of the world during the period of his death?!

We laid many questions with no answer except from stopping their mind and running away. But wait, there is a final question; did the Jews crucify the god by his own will or not? If the answer is ‘yes’ then you should thank them because they did what satisfied the god. However, if they did it against his will, then you should worship them instead of him because they defeated the god and proved that they are stronger than him! The stronger has the priority to be worshipped not the weak.

Amazing how the Jews and Christians Attribute to Allah a son
Giving him up to the Jews Saying “After they killed him he was crucified”
If this was the truth then ask them “where did his father go?”
If he was pleased with their evil then thank them for what they had to do
But if he answered with reject, worship them for they have defeated the Lord!!!

Could guidance be followed by going astray? Is it logical to call for the unity of religions and claim (as they do) that all religions are true and every person has the right to choose from among them the one that he likes?!

Allah almighty had shown us the path of believers and the approach of pioneers saying: “And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way.” [Al-Anam 6:153]

Transliteration: Wa 'Anna Hādhā Şirāţī Mustaqīmāan Fa Attabi`ūhu Wa Lā Tattabi`ū As-Subula Fatafarraqa Bikum `An Sabīlihi

The Prophet once drew a straight line and lines on both sides of the straight line and said that this straight line is the path of the truth and the lines that are on its two sides are the paths of the evil, and there is a devil at the beginning of each path calls the believer to get him away from his straight path. Therefore, you should know the true path and neglect the paths that lead you astray from the path of Allah to the paths of evil and whims after knowing that your religion is the true religion, and that all other religions are falsely claimed to be so.

The creed of salvation: Why do they believe in it?

The rule that dominates the church and that is directed to the public is “Do not ask and you will be safe from anathema. Do not oppose and you will be safe from perdition.” So, they have to believe whatever their priests would say even if it was not logical. There are priests who repeat their sayings without understanding them, so how could they convince the Christian individual by a creed they (themselves) do not agree to. The following are the origins of their creed; so consider them in your heart and thought and see, is this actually true creed?!

Whoever believes in salvation would get rid of his sins; on the other hand, whoever does not believe in it will definitely perish.

They say that after Adam had eaten from the tree; all his children entered the jail of Satan in Hellfire because of Adam’s sin. They claim that this continued till the days of Moses peace be upon him. Then, when Allah Almighty wanted to save humanity, He tricked Satan and descended from His exalted position to get into the womb of Mary who delivered Him and raised Him up till He became man (Jesus). Then he gave his enemy, the Jews, the opportunity to crucify Him and put a crown of thorns on His head and nailed His hands and legs on the cross while feeling pain and crying seeking help till He died for three days. Then He rose from His grave and ascended to the heavens. And by doing this He wiped the sin of Adam from the shoulders of all people except those who deny the crucifixion or even doubt it!!!

Is it logical for anyone to believe such myths?! Actually, they had gotten astray as mentioned by Allah in His glorious book.

Why did the ecumenical councils declare the godhood of Jesus (peace be upon him)?

The ecumenical councils that rose three hundred years after the ascending of the Christ were Just factories for issuing orders, distorting Christianity, declaring Jesus and his mother as gods, and declaring the infallibility of the pope and priests as mentioned earlier. They had put reasons for justifying the godhood of Jesus (peace be upon him) and we will disprove them after a while, and they are;

1.    Having some texts about that in their distorted gospels that had been transmitted through Paul the Jew.
2.    Giving Life to the dead.
3.    Being born by no father.

We must keep in mind that the gospel of John had been written after sixty years of Jesus ascension. So, how did he memorize all the sayings of the Christ? Also, you should know that they took most of John’s gospel from the messages of the Paul the Jew. Then, how could we accept messages from a man the pope had declared his disbelief in the introduction of his gospel? (The pope issued decree prohibiting circulating the gospel of Barnabas, before Islam, because it calls for monotheism and many things concerning the coming of the prophet Muhammad. This gospel had been discovered and printed, and it is the closest to the truth.) It has been mentioned in the French encyclopedia, which has been written by non-Muslims, that the gospels of John and Mark had been written by Paul the Jew. Moreover, Britannica Encyclopedia, which is written by more than 500 Non-Muslim researchers, stated that the gospels had been distorted, and they considered the contradictions in the story of crucifixion the biggest evidence to this distortion. They also emphasized that the writers of these gospels had been affected by the creed of Buddhism and the old paganism (this will be mentioned later in detail).

The evidences that they used to declare the godhood of Jesus were due to their ignorance and not understanding the texts well.

They misunderstood sentences in the Holy Book like the one in the book of Jeremiah the prophet that describes the birth of Jesus:

Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, That I will raise to David a Branch of Righteousness; a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell in safety; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS"

They understand from this text that this prophet (Jeremiah) had declared the godhood of Jesus. If this text had been proved to be sound, it would be telling about something will occur in the future (the unseen); rather than confirming it. This text means that a son from the children of David would come and call people to the true religion and Allah would support him with miracles (i.e. bringing the dead to life, recovering the blind and the leprous by the will of Allah) then he will be called god by people. This is just a prophecy concerning something that will happen in the future and it had actually happened. This proves the occurrence of the prophecy not the godhood of Jesus. This is supported by what is mentioned in the Psalms of David Peace be upon him, that Allah May he be Glorified and Exalted said to David that “There will be a son of your breed, I will be attributed to him as a father and he as my son. O Allah send the restorer of the Sunnah (which is the Messenger Muhammad -peace and blessings be upon him-) to teach the people that he is only a son of Man.” (This psalm is no longer mentioned in the nowadays published issue of the Psalms as a result of the distortion committed by the Christian priests, while it was mentioned by Ibn Qayim al Jawzyah in his Book ‘Hidayat Al Hayara Le Ajwibat Al Yahud wal Nasara’, the 12th notion he mentioned his book quoting some verses of the Psalms. This book was written in the 8th century Hijjri). They claim under this notion that Holy books indicated the Divinity of Jesus, rather its main reason only to inform about something that will happen in the future, and so it did happen, Allah had sent from the breed of David whom people claimed to be son of God. After that, he sent the restorer of the Sunnah which is Muhammad, who taught them that Jesus is only a human, by that he diminished their argument of being Son of God. Eventually, the prophecy had become true stating their misguidance by deifying Jesus and attributing him as son of God falsely and wrongfully. After all that Allah Almighty sent the seal of Messengers who showed them the falsehood they committed, and that Jesus is the slave of Allah, his Messenger and his word laid to Merriam and of his spirit.

One of the examples that show their ignorance:

Saied Ibn Al-Batreek narrated about their third ecumenical council and mentioned that the leaders and ministries held a meeting with the king complaining the question of Arius and Acadians that mislead people; so, the king sent letters to all the archbishops and patriarchs who had been gathered in Constantinople. They found that their books declare that the Holy Spirit is a creature not a god. Then the patriarch of Alexandria said: “The Holy Spirit is nothing but the spirit of God, and God’s spirit is nothing but his life. Hence, if we said that the Holy Spirit is created, it would mean that God’s life is created, and if we said that His life is created, it would mean that He is not a live, which is infidelity.” They agreed upon this opinion and cursed Arius and announced that the Holy Ghost is a true God from a true god and declared Trinity_ that is defined as one God in three hypostasis!

Al-Busairy said “They made three, one where if they were guided they wouldn’t have made the more, less.”

Othman Al-Qutaany comments on this sheer ignorance by saying: “It is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet that the Christ is the spirit of Allah. This is like His saying about Gabriel: “Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.” [Maryam 19:17]

Transliteration: Fa'arsalnā 'Ilayhā Rūĥanā Fatamaththala Lahā Basharāan Sawīyāan

The Prophet said: “If anyone testifies that None has the right to be worshiped but Allah Alone Who has no partners, and that Muhammad is His Slave and His Messenger, and that Jesus is Allah's Slave and His Messenger and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is true, and Hell is true, Allah will admit him into Paradise with the deeds which he had done even if those deeds were few” [Reported by Al-Bukhari]

The Muslim scholars explained these texts to eliminate any misconception. They said that Allah is too exalted for being merged with a creature.

Merging means incarnation or union with the divine, which is the origin of today’s Christianity. They claim that God had incarnated Himself in the body of Jesus (peace be upon him). Also this is the origin of the belief of the extremists Sufi; they believe that Allah incarnates Himself in everything, and that their leaders become Gods on the earth. They think that the perfectness of monotheism is to believe that Allah incarnates Himself in everything. Allah is too high exalted from what they say!

When we say the spirit of Allah we attribute the spirit to Him as a kind of honoring to the spirit. (i.e. it does not mean that it is part of Him; rather it means that it is His property like our saying the house of Allah, the camel of Allah …etc. it is known that the camel of God does not mean it is the camel that He rides, and the house of God does not mean it is the house that He lives in it.) Therefore, the spirit of God means one of the spirits that He created. It is attributed to Him as a kind of honoring. This is like His saying: “Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa,” [Al-‘Isra’ 17:1]

Transliteration: Subhana allathee asra biAAabdihi laylan mina almasjidi alharami ila almasjidi alaqsa

He means by attributing the Prophet to Himself honoring him.

The occasion of crucifixion:

Dear brother, you knew that the Britannica Encyclopedia, which is written by non-Muslims, emphasized the distortion of the gospels, adding and fabricating the issue of crucifixion with its contradictions. In the following lines we will highlight some of these aspects to show this contradiction. It is mentioned in the gospel that when the Jews approached Jesus to kill him, he feared and invoked his father for help. It is also mentioned that when he had been raised to the cross he cried very loudly and shouted:

“My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"

Othman Al-Qutaany says: “These texts give the Christians only two options. The first is to confess that the issue of crucifixion is not true, and this would lead to confessing that not everything in the gospel is true, moreover the myth of salvation (which is the origin of the Christian creed) would be disproved. The second is to say that crucifixion had already occurred, and this would mean that the Christ is not God because he cried and invoked god to save him. How could a god seek help from another god?! How could a creator be defeated by a creature?! If he was the God; then, who is the other god that he had invoked?! If they said that what has been killed is the human aspect only; then, how could god lose one of his aspects and being imperfect?!

O worshipers of Jesus we have a strange question to you, do you have an answer
If Jesus was, as you claim, a powerful, glorified and a feared God
Then how do you believe that the Jews by crucifying gave him the bitterness of torment
And How did you believe that god could die and buried under the sand

Dear fair kind reader, does anyone who has the least degree of understanding, doubt the falseness of this? Is there infidelity greater than the one that declares that creatures killed the creator?!

The Christians had implicitly confessed the fabrication of the issue of crucifixion in the gospels when they held ecumenical council in 1950 A.C. and declared that the Jews are innocent from the blood of the Christ, although the gospels say the contrary! Moreover, is there a contradiction after making the Christ able to do everything while does not have the power to protect himself?!

This creed in the shades of the Holy Quran:

The Holy Qur’an refuted the Christian Trinity and the godhood of the Christ and his being son of God beside many other claims.

Allah almighty says: “And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." (88) You have done an atrocious thing. (89) The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation (90) That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. (91) And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. (92) There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. (93) He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting.” [Maryam 19:88-94]

And He says: “It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.” [Maryam 19:35]

The Holy Quran refuted their claim that creating Jesus from mother only is a proof of his godhood. The Holy Quran stated that Jesus is like Adam that had been created from dust with no father or mother, and like Eve that had been created from Adam with no mother. When Allah wants to create a thing He only says to it: "Be!" - And it is. Allah says: “Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.” [Al-Imran 3:59]

The Holy Quran disproved their claims concerning the godhood of Jesus and his mother, and declared that Jesus and Mary are innocent of such claims. Allah almighty says: “And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. (116) I said not to them except what You commanded me – to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.” [Al-Maidah 5:116-117]

Jesus and his mother did not ask the Christians to worship them, and they declared innocence of their deed (as it is mentioned earlier). The Prophet said: “Whoever accepts to be worshipped instead of Allah would enter Hellfire.”

Jesus and his mother did not accept to be worshiped instead of Allah as it is mentioned in the previous verses. Moreover, Jesus (peace be upon him) declared his innocence from his people and declared that the Judgment upon their deeds after his ascension is for Allah, because He is the Watcher over them. Allah says: “Then when ‘Îsâ (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: "Who will be my helpers in Allâh’s Cause?" Al-Hawâriyyûn (the disciples) said: "We are the helpers of Allâh; we believe in Allâh, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allâh)› [Al-Imran 3:52]

The witnesses are the Muslims (the followers of the last Prophet), because they refuted the claims of the Christians, declared Jesus’ innocence of such things, called for worshipping Allah alone, hating any other false gods, and following the right.

In addition to the above mentioned evidences, Allah almighty proved that Jesus is not god and that he is human does not deserve to be exalted to the exalted position of godhood. He is a human being like all human beings. He eats and drinks; hence, he responds to the call of nature and does what any human being does.

The one who eats and drinks cannot be god, because god does not eat. Allah says: “while it is He who feeds and is not fed?” [Al-Anam 6:14]

And He almighty says: “The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food.” [Al-Maidah 5:75]

Finally, read this verse that is the best end brings the truth and perishes the falsehood: “They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers. (72)They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.” [Al-Maidah 5:72-73]
